AN-Routine de soins peau mature

Skin care routine for mature and aging skin

Your main objective is to plump up wrinkles, eliminate dark spots and reduce sagging. Your skin regimen will be similar to that of those with dry skin, with some minor differences.

Day

CleanserFor aging skin in particular, you need to remember your neck when it comes to cleansing, treating and applying sunscreen. It’s a secret spot that often shows the first sign of aging.
TonerSome toning lotions contain AHAs and BHAs, which help to gently brighten mature skin.
SerumAny serum containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) or beta hydroxy acids (BHA) will help reduce the appearance of large pores and lighten dull spots.
Moisturising cream     Choose moisturising creams containing hyaluronic acid and panthenol.
Sunscreen Use a minimum SPF 30 sunscreen if it is not integrated into your moisturiser or make-up base.
Sunscreen is the basis of any routine. It protects the skin against UV aggression. It is also an antioxidant as it works as a barrier

Night

Oil-based cleanser It is important to cleanse the face in two stages to eliminate impurities of two different natures: greasy impurities (make-up, sebum, pollution etc) and hydrophilic impurities (perspiration, dust etc). This is to avoid irritating the skin. The hydrolipidic film is thus preserved.
This is a better option for most people as it is a gentle and effective cleanser.
Apply the cleansing oil to the face and massage the face with circular movements, this will activate the blood circulation and at the same time remove traces of make-up and sebum. Then rinse with lukewarm (not hot) water.
Water-based cleanserAn ultra-gentle cleansing lotion or a mild soap is ideal for dry skin.
TonerUse a toning lotion containing active ingredients such as niacinamide (derived from vitamin B3), hyaluronic acid, peptides.
SerumIncorporate a retinol serum into your regime five nights a week.
Look for an eye serum that contains peptides, as they are good for stimulating collagen activity.
Moisturising creamA retinol moisturizer is designed to smooth fine lines and prevent the formation of future wrinkles.
OilYour skin can become drier as you age, so consider incorporating a nourishing facial oil with anti-aging ingredients into your routine a few times a week.
AdviceSkin becomes more delicate as it ages, so a gentle physical or chemical exfoliator works best on mature skin, especially on your neck. Do it at night. A weekly glycolic peel will reveal fresh, clear skin and leave your complexion smooth.
