AN-Microneedling

MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling is a non-invasive method of natural skin regeneration through biophysical and biochemical stimulation. This technique consists of creating multiple micro-perforations in the epidermis, creating micro-channels for the insertion of serums containing active ingredients necessary to treat a given problem.
The serum will penetrate deeper into the skin for optimal results.
The micro-perforations are only superficial, so pain is minimal.
A healing process follows, which allows a natural activation of the synthesis of collagen and elastin fibres. Hence the expression: natural collagen induction.
This results in accelerated natural cell regeneration.

The technique is not only applicable to the face: microneedling can be used on the whole body.
The treatment is indicated to treat the following problems in a non-invasive way:

  • fine lines
  • Skin discolorations
  • Sagging skin
  • Acne scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Stretch marks
  • Scars
  • Onset of alopecia

Benefits :

In other words, you will benefit from

  • Improved skin texture
  • Stimulation of collagen production
  • Reduction of scars and hyperpigmentation
  • Reduction in the appearance of wrinkles
  • Reduction of the appearance of pores
  • Stimulation of hair growth, while the bulbs are still active

With regard to hair, during the procedure, growth factors that promote healing are released and these same growth factors can promote hair growth. The trauma created by microneedling can also stimulate the growth of stem cells, which are useful for new hair growth.

Current studies indicate that there are positive results when microneedling is used in conjunction with oral or topical medications to treat alopecia, resulting in increased density, thickness and quality of hair growth.

Potential side effects :

  • As microneedling is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment, side effects are generally minimal.
  • You may experience a slight warming or tingling sensation in the treated area for up to a few hours after treatment.
  • Your skin may show signs of irritation or tightness, temporary redness, swelling or peeling. These reactions are perfectly normal and will resolve within 5 to 7 days.
  • The skin should be protected from the sun after treatment. Avoid excessive sun exposure for 7 days after the treatment and use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30.
